Refund & Return Policy

We accept returns only under specific circumstances, as outlined below.
Requests made outside these conditions will not be eligible for return or refund.
2. Eligibility for Returns
A return request will be considered only if:
- The product received is damaged during transit, or
- The product has a clear manufacturing defect, or
- The product delivered is incorrect
Requests based on personal preference, change of mind, or subjective expectations (including minor variations in colour, texture, or finish) will not be accepted.
3. Reporting an Issue
All concerns must be reported within 48 hours of delivery.

Failure to report within the specified time frame may result in the request being declined.
4. Return Approval & Process
- All return requests are subject to review and approval by Chithiraalayam
- Once approved, return instructions and the return address will be shared The product must be:
- Unused and in its original condition
- Packed securely in original or equivalent packaging
Chithiraalayam reserves the right to reject returns that do not meet these conditions.
5. Refunds
Refunds will be processed only after:
- The returned product is received, and
- A quality inspection confirms the reported issue
Important Conditions: - Refunds will exclude original shipping charges and applicable taxes, unless the return is due to an error on our part
- Refunds will be issued through the original payment method only
- Processing time: 7–10 business days from approval of refund
6. Damaged or Defective Items
If a product is found to be damaged or defective:
- You may choose either a replacement or a refund
- Replacement timelines typically range between 5–7 business days, subject to availability
In cases where replacement is not possible, a full refund (as per policy terms) will be processed.
7. Non-Returnable Situations
Returns will not be accepted for:
- Minor variations inherent to handcrafted or reproduced artworks
- Damage caused after delivery due to handling, installation, or environmental conditions
- Requests made beyond the specified reporting period
8. Final Discretion
All decisions regarding returns, replacements, and refunds rest solely with Chithiraalayam. We aim to ensure fairness while maintaining the integrity of the artworks we present.
